All Welsh-language terms in TermCymru will show the subject, part of speech and status. Some terms will also show a definition, a contextual sentence and/or usage notes. From the launch of BydTermCymru in 2015, all new or revised terms will include a definition and/or a contextual sentence.
If a term has a definition, a contextual sentence or usage notes, the words "Show more" will appear with that term on the results page. Click on those words to see the additional information. You are strongly advised to do so for all terms relevant to your search.

Before BydTermCymru was launched in 2015, the Context field was been used to record all kinds of different notes. In time, these notes will be transferred to the Notes field. For all new terms added or existing terms revised since the summer of 2015, this field is only be used to record contextual sentences.
