The Welsh language has official status in Wales.

Utility companies and other public service organisations have a legal obligation towards the Welsh language – to find out more, visit the Welsh Language Commissioner’s website.

BT and the Royal Mail Group have Welsh language policies.

BT also runs a Welsh Language Bureau for residential customers who wish to contact BT about sales, repair and residential billing (0800 800 288).  It also provide a Welsh language Directory Enquiries service on 118 404.

Traveline Cymru is the public transport information service for Wales.  Information on trains, buses, flights and ferries are on the organisation’s bilingual website.
